2012 Season
The London Model & Engineering Show 2012
We start as always with the season openner, Alexanda Palace, only this year I had been asked to organise the show, by the privious encumbants Phil & Gary.
I have as most of you know enough on my plate at the moment, so I had no hesitation in turning the whole show over to my right hand man Ant Pritchard.
The Tamiya Truckin Banner was well represented here and Ant, Ted, Liz and the crew made a fantastic job of the 3D Layout, and even bigger pit area, we also got to share in extra space sharing the Tank run area when the guys were re charging there batteries so to speak, step forward Ray Harrison and his Best in Show Heavey Haulage rig from last years RC Truck Model Championships, Ray as always playing to his hearts content for hours, well done Ray.
The layout drew its normal capacity crowds through out this 3 daay show and I can safley say the organisers were more than pleased.
This show, as mentioned before is predomanently and engineering show, so for those of you looking for that special bit of Kit, these are the shows for you.
Ant has alreaady secured us a layout at this Exhibitors next big show in Manchester at the start of March this year, well done again Ant.
