The UKs FIRST Radio Control Truck Championships to be held over the week end of Saturday 17th and Sunday the 18th April 2010, at the Royal bath and West Shwoground Shepton Mallet Somerset, as part of the South West Model Engineering, Model Making and Hobbies Exhibition,   http://www.swmee.co.uk/

There has never been a show like this in the UK before, it is open to both Tamiya and Wedico Radio Control Trucks and by the end of the day on Sunday we will crown The Best Radio Control Truck Model in the Country. , along with other top Trophy winners.

This show, is to show just how far this hobby has come in such a short time. Plus you get the chance to Run on our very large and now very popular Road layout, approx 20 sq meters in size, plus all over the week end the chance to Hone, Show off, or just generally get involved in our Driver of the Year Trophy.

Oh yes, just like the real thing... even playing field for everybody Rigid or Artic just make sure you enter early, this will over subscribe very quickly.

Too shy to show NEVER, the whole idea of the show is to encourage the people involved in this Hobby to book a table and bring along their models completed or not, there is NO FEE for theTable , But you will have to BOOK to attend, doing so will alow others the oppotunity to view your models and ask questions like:,

How did you do that?

Where can I get that from?

 Can you show me how?

And a thousand other questions along the way, the Show is a BIG Version of Show & Tell its simple, these questions will come from other modellers as well as the thousands of members of the public who pay to visit this show every year.

There will be 6 open catagories in which you can enter your Truck / Truck & Trailer, they are:

Best Volvo, Best Scania, Best Mercedes, Best American, Best Conversion, Best Driver and Best in Show.

Camping is available Now subject to a small Charge for the whole week end and early booking is advised, if how ever you can only attend 1 day, NO PROBLEM, just let us know which day/ days you wish to attend by filling in our on line booking form and send it back to us as instructed.
